Troubleshooting Lippert Turning Point Pin Box Having Issues Getting Hitched To B&W Patriot

I have a similar issue to one posted on here. I have a turning point pinbox with a BandW patriot and the correct wedge installed. It hitched fine at first but now struggles to fully engage. The jaws don’t close completely without force. Should I loosen the wedge and reinstall it?

Since the wedge you have worked correctly the first time you connected your Lippert Turning Point Pin Box to your B&W Patriot 5th wheel hitch # BWRVK3200 then I would indeed go ahead and loosen/uninstall the wedge and reinstall it.
You said you are using the correct wedge so I am assuming that you have the Lippert Turning Point Wedge # LC79UD, so you will want to make sure you have the wedge pointed the correct direction to best keep the king pin from rotating in the hitch, and will want to make sure your bolts are torqued to the proper torque spec in the instructions you have.
