Shock Kit for Trailer with 2-3/8 inch Diameter Axle that is Overslung
Question:
I have a 1946 Bantam T3-C trailer with new shackles, bushings, and a 3500 lb 2 3/8” diameter Dexter axle. I bought your “flip kit” but want to add shocks when I flip as I am adding 35” tires and about 200 more lbs. I looked at the # LC281255 for 2-3/8 inch diameter axles kit but would like your opinion. The trailer has a roof top tent, 25 gallon water tanks, propane, sink, and storage. It’s used on off-road trails and overlanding. Thanks!

The Lippert shock kit part # LC281255 is designed to fit 3,500 lb trailer axles that are 2-3/8 inch in diameter and are overslung like it sounds like you have so this will fit and work great. Since you will be off-roading this will do a great job smoothing out the ride quality of the trailer as you are in rougher terrain.
