Bolt On Single Axle Suspension Lift For a Single Axle Cargo Trailer With a 3,500LB Underslung Axle
Question:
I have a 7x7x14inch cargo trailer with a 3500lb Round Axle above the leaf springs. I want to raise it as much as I can using a block between the Leaf spring and axle. What would you recommend?

I have a couple recommendations as we do not recommend using lift blocks likes those used on a vehicle axle for a lift. First since your axle sits above your leaf springs you can use the Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 to place your axle below your leaf springs. Depending on the thickness of your leaf springs you can expect to see roughly 3" to 3-1/2" of rise in your trailer. We also have the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # LC87120 if you have double eye leaf springs. This kit will give you either 1-1/4" or 2-1/4" of lift. By using both of these together you can see roughly 5-1/4" to 5-3/4" of lift again this will depend on the thickness of your leaf springs.
