What Size Trailer Hitch Does Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer # C45048
Question:
Hi, I was looking to use this on my 2inch hitch behind my truck to clear my tailgate and still flat tow my jeep. Will this work for this? Sounds like there is a 2inch sleeve that fits between the two so it will work with the 2inch receivers, is that right? Thank you

The Curt hitch extension part # C45048 that you referenced is designed to fit a hitch size of 2-1/2 inch which it sounds like your truck has a 2 inch hitch. This then provides a 2 inch hitch at the other end of the adapter. If you let me know the year/make/model of your truck I can see if there's a 2-1/2 inch hitch available for it.
