Best Trailer Hitch for 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ
Question:
I bought a Malone MicroSport trailer and kayak that I would like to tow with my car an Impala 2014 LTZ. What would be the best items to use? I was thinking the #36538 and the C56188. Please advise if this would be the best choice. I will continue to research.

The Curt trailer hitch receiver custom fit class II 1-1/4 inch # C12115 and the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness # C56188 are a confirmed fit for your 2014 Chevrolet Impala LTZ. It will be the best choice for its install time and this trailer hitch gross tongue weight is 50 pounds higher than the Draw-Tite. You can find installation advice and instructions on the product pages linked.
Also do you have a trailer hitch ball mount and ball? The Draw-Tite drawbar # 36061 is compatible with the hitch receiver you inquired about. For the ball size I recommend 1-7/8" and 2" hitch balls as a vehicle that size won't be towing a large enough trailer for a 2-5/16" hitch ball.
