Suspension Enhancement Options for a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 With B and W Gooseneck Turnoverball Hitch

Question:

I have the B and W Turnover Gooseneck ball installed on my 2002 Ram 2500. It has about 3/8 inch thick side plates mounted on the outside of the frame rails. Will you kit mount right in between the frame rail and the axle? The other brand requires a lot of extra welding and custom fabrication due to the offset on the upper bracket caused by the gooseneck side plates.

The upper bracket for the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs, # AL57215, that you referenced bolts to the outside of the frame rail where the frame brackets of your B and W Turnoverball currently sit. I spoke with B and W and they told me that it was okay to bolt through their frame brackets if you would like to install this air bag kit.

At this time we do not offer air springs for your 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 that mount to the underside of the frame rail, but we do offer rubber springs that will work.

If you are interested in this option, take a look at the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TDR1525H4. These springs mount to the underside of the frame rail and will not interfere with your gooseneck hitch. These springs will fit the 4WD models only.

If you have a 2WD model, you can use # TDR1525H2. I have attached the installation instructions for both of these springs for you to check out.
