If you are not hauling a 5th wheel trailer or using a gooseneck hitch the top of the line rear suspension enhancement is going to be the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2071. These air bags fit both the 2WD and 4WD 2001 Ram 2500's. This system offers 4,800 lbs in load leveling support.

If you are using an in bed hitch your options are limited. You will want to go with one of our Timbren Kits. The Timbren's act as a bump stop and will prevent your suspension from bottoming out. These each have a 6,000 lbs capacity and absorb road shock.

2WD - Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TDR1525H2

4WD - Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System item # TDR1525H4

If you end up going with the air bags, I recommend adding the Firestone Air Command I item # F2097. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from the comfort of your cab.
