Recommended PSI For Firestone RideRite Air Helper Springs On 2008 Pleasureway 20' RV
Question:
Hello - I just purchased a 2008 Pleasure Way RV 20foot F250 Ford. It has the Firestone RideRite system installed but I know nothing about it and there is no literature. I do know that when going on any bumps whatsoever it feels as if it has noinch shocks. Can you possibly recommend what PSI I should keep the RideRite at for cruising? Its just me and my dog, very little cargo, and the weight of the water in my fresh tank. Any help is really appreciated : Have a great day and thank you !

Expert Reply:
Typically the Firestone RideRite air helper springs like what you have in your 2008 Pleasureway 20' RV have a PSI range of 5-100 PSI. Since you are feeling that the suspension is too stiff I recommend reducing the air pressure about 5 PSI at a time until you get the ride quality you are looking for.
The only way to get the ride quality you want is going to a process of trial and error on the air pressure.
