We carry a few choices the Replacement Door Switch for Lippert Electric Coach Step # LC301694 and the Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC369299 that you may need depending on if your circuit needs to be open or closed. # LC301694 is an open circuit that completes when the door is closed, while # LC369299 is a complete circuit that opens when opened, tells the steps to retract. Depending on what your sensor looks like will dictate which one you need.

Yes the Lippert Components Kwikee 9510 Control #LC379146 is the same as Kwikee part 909510000. Since that is the part that Kwikee called out for your steps #LC379146 will fit.

I was able to determine that the switch you have now is the #LC369299 which is normally an open circuit so for the opposite configuration to allow your step to operate like it needs to you'd want the #LC301694.

The harness difference you found is because the control unit you should have ordered looks to be the #LC379604 which fits the newer versions of the step. Most likely the steps of your RV were replaced with a kit made after 2005.
