Solution for Trailer Breakaway Pin that is Broke and Won't Stay Installed

My breakaway switch came out and we are not sure qwhen it came out. We didnt see or feel any issues with the trailer breaks while driving and only noticed it when we got to our camp site. I tried to put the pin back in but it kept popping out. What are your suggestions for this issue? We have a 2019 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS Fifth Wheel.

The easiest solution for a breakaway pin that keeps popping out would be to replace the entire switch since they are all universal and the install is really easy. For that the # 420000 would be a great solution that will wire right in place of what you have.

We do offer a replacement battery box with LED lid for the Hopkins Engager Breakaway box. The part number for the box and lid is #HM20121 and the part number for the battery itself is #HM20008.
