Compatible Hub Drum for Timbren TASR1THDS04 Axle-Less Suspension

Question:

Hello - I have the Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel - 16inch x 6inch Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 - Black Powder Coat, which has a 4.27inch pilot diameter. Is there a Hub/Brake assembly that would match up well with this wheel, being installed on a Timbren 1Tonne HD axle-less system. My current Hub/Brake are 10inch diameter, but the wheel pilot does not rest on the center hub. It seems as though all of the weight will be held by the lugs.....is that ok?

I took the liberty of looking up your previous order, and saw that you purchased the Timbren # TASR1THDS04 axle-less suspension. The spindle on the # TASR1THDS04 is compatible with a standard 3.5K brake hub/drum like # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K. The wheels you ordered are meant to be stud piloted, not hub piloted so the # AM20758 Dexstar Conventional wheel you have would be perfectly compatible.

In other words, the wheel will work great with the hub/drum I recommended and the # K23-086-087-00 brake assemblies you ordered.
