I have a different option for you, but the factory trailer hitch receiver on your 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 DRW Truck is actually welded on to the truck as cannot be removed.
Instead you will need to go with a hitch that installs underneath the factory hitch, of which I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15409 which is a confirmed fit for your truck, and has a tongue weight rating of 2550lbs and trailer weight rating of 17000lbs which is plenty for your trailer.
Keep in mind that just because the hitch has these ratings does not mean your truck does, so you will need to check your trucks owner's manual to find its tongue and trailer weight ratings and use the lower ratings between the truck and hitch.
I included a video of the # C15409 for you to take a look at.
