Can a Class 1 Hitch Hold One Adult Bike and Two Kids Bikes?

Hi. Can I put an adult bike and 2 kids bikes on a class 1 hitch? I know you recommend only 2 bikes. Thanks!

The Class I hitches are rated to carry 2 bikes not only due to the weight, but also due to how far the bikes will sit out past the hitch. So with that being said, I cannot recommend loading more than 2 bikes onto a Class I hitch.
However, I do suggest the Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier # TH911XT. This will fit your 2009 Corolla, will handle 3 bikes, and will be the better option.
