Installation of Frame Brackets of Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar on 2004 Workhorse W-Series Chassis
Question:
I have your Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar and TruTrac Rod Kit Item # RM-1259-106 that I am installing in my 2004 Newmar MountainAire RV. When I position the B424 and B425 brackets and the 3/4inch bolts there is about 1/2inch between the frame and the bottom of the brackets. All the pictures seem to show the bottom of the bracket sitting on the frame. Should I enlarge the hole in the frame to have the brackets sitting lower so that the bottom of the B424 and B425 brackets are fully sitting on the frame?

Expert Reply:
When installing the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar and TruTrac Rod Kit # RM-1259-106 you will want those brackets sit flush; you can enlarge the hole or drill a new one so that you can get the bracket sitting flush to the rail. My contact over at Roadmaster also recommended using Red Loctite # LT37420 when completing the installation, if you don't already have some.
