How To Connector 7-way Round Trailer Connector To 7-way Blade Connector When Adapters Aren't Working
Question:
We purchased a sure trac trailer to pull heavy equipment with our 07 Ford F750. The trailer came with a 7 pin pole plug but the 750 has a 7 blade configuration. We purchased an adapter that had intermittent issues with the brakes but we made it work. The lights on the trailer went out so i bought another adapter by Hopkins #47425. The lights work but the brakes are locked and wont release. Do you carry the correct adapter so I dont have to rewire the trailer?

Since you have issues with two different adapters, it is likely that the wiring for your trailer is not matching the way the 7-way blade connector on your 2007 Ford F-750 is wired.
To keep from having more issues your best bet is to replace the 7-way round connector on your trailer with the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector - Trailer End # PK12706 eliminating the need for an adapter.
You will need to test the functions of each wire going to the 7-round connector and match the functions to the functions of the 7-way blade connector which are shown in the included diagram.
Trailer wiring colors are not standard, so it is important to go by function and not color.
I included a video of the # PK12706 for you to take a look at.
