Rear Suspension Enhancement for a 2006 Toyota Highlander

Question:

hi...... i own a 2006 toyota highlander front wheel drive. it can tow a max 3500 and tongue wt. is listed at 350 lbs. i plan on purchasing a scamp travel trailer with a gross weight of around 2500 lbs. one problem i have is that the highlander has a soft rear end causing the rear to sag when there is a load on the hitch. im told that toyota doesnt recommend a wdh. since my car is a front wheell drive i need to level the load out somewhat. does the sumo spring attachment work like a wdh. do you think it would be a reasonable alternative to a wdh. thanks for your advice.

Ideally you would use weight distribution but since Toyota says you cannot (consult the vehicle owners manual to confirm) then using some sort of suspension enhancement will work to take the sag out of the back of your 2006 Toyota Highlander. The Sumo Springs you actually need are # CSS-1168R for your Highlander.

These will help to take out the sagging and ease some stress on the suspension.
