Pop-In Ball
The included pop-in ball uses an integrated, easy-to-access lever to activate the ball-bearing locking system, securing the ball in the hitch. Quickly remove the ball using the same lever and get absolute, uninhibited use of your truck bed. Because this hitch installs underneath your truck bed, all that you will be left with upon removal of the ball and safety chain loops is the ball hole.

I purchased this for my 2017 Ford SuperDuty 6.7 Powerstroke to tow my gooseneck crawler hauler setup. It took about 2 1/2 hours to install from start to finish. Installation was simple and all the parts were quality. The bolts were heavy duty Grade 8 bolts and it went together exactly as the directions indicated. I love how easy the ball is removed and can be stored under the back seat when not in use. I’d highly recommend it.
Does the job it’s intended for with no problems
Fast shipping as always and good product. Little trouble getting some of the holes to line up properly but not to bad. Overall easy company to deal with.
The install wasn’t that bad. The hard part is getting everything torqued to spec while having no room to work. Very well built good instructions. Have only used once and so far so good!
it works great and i was able to install it buy myself without lifting the truck.
Everything bolted up with the F250s predrilled holes perfectly. A bit of a challenging task for this 71-year-old working without a lift and getting everything torqued properly. My kit was missing an angle bracket but called etrailer and they shipped one out right away.
Everything from the ordering to the shipping was fast and easy.
i like the way the ball comes out and a plug goes in. what i dont like is the fact Curt didn't make some holes right. on one side of the center i could only get one bolt in try as i could. I fought it for 2.5 hours doing evrything from taking out the bolts holding the side plate to the frame to finally tightening everything up then running a 5/8" drill bit through to allow the carriage bolts to go through everything. not only that if Ford already hadn't had the inside frame plates already welded in i would not have been able to install the ones that came with it. ididn't need to drop the spare but did have to pry the exhaust pipe over a .5 inch . if the bed had been raised 4" everything would have been a snap. I don't consider my self a novice or a pro but 2.5 hours is definitely too short a time. Curt engineers ned to rethink some of their instructions.
Much nicer than OEM if you’re not going to use the puck system. Install this first if you’re going to install firestone airbags or other bags that install outside the frame! Spent twice as long installing this due to having to mess with the bags. Not Curt’s fault but still a hassle.
4 stars as a template should be provided for the safety chain holes.
Perfect fit on 2019 F250 easy installation very sturdy it is heavy for sure be careful. I installed it laying on a cold concrete carport would definitely be easier if you had access to a car lift but it's very doable in drive way. Took about 2 hours for me but with arthritis I stopped several time for a break. You cant go wrong with this hitch. Great product, fast shipping and fantastic prices. ETRAILER is the best in my opinion.
I installed it but had to get someone to torque it out. I use it eith the Andersen hitch and it tows amazing. Recommend this if you are gooseneck towing.
Excellent product, install was fairly easy helps to have an extra set of hands.
I used black spray paint to help hide hardware, then installed wheel well incerts which made for a clean looking truck.
Would buy again for sure.
Mostly everything bolted together quickly. I did have to slightly open up the shock mount hole in one bracket but it was pretty simple. That's the reason for 4 stars but thats on Curt Manufacturing end. Had both products to my door in 2 days with free shipping. That's hard to beat!

Works well after a year. Keeping the mechanism oiled helps with it sticking and being difficult to remove. I think it’s less noisy then the turn over ball type when towing but all in all I like both. I’d buy again.
well made, pretty easy to install, but instructions were not the greatest. center section is very difficult for 1 person to get into place. other than that all went well. well pleased
It fits perfect! I love being able to install the ball in the bed with no levers under the truck.
well pleased with product. simple installation& didn't have to loosen any lines or exhaust on truck. a little heavy for 75 year Oldman to lay on his back and bolt up center section by my self but I made it. can't get computer to load pictures for you, sorry.

Lots of heavy lifting but I got it up there and bolted down. No missing holes or alignment issues. A helper is recommended but not necessary.
