Will this fit for a 2013 BMW X5, and is installation the same as 2011 X5?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Class III Trailer hitch, # 75600, will fit on your 2013 BMW X5 as long as it is not the M model and the installation will be the same as the 2011 X5. The 2011 X5 is the same generation as the 2013 X5 so the vehicles are very similar. At this time we do not offer a trailer hitch for the M model.
One thing to keep in mind when installing this hitch is that you will need to remove 6 plastic push rivets to remove the rear bumper fascia. We have found that the replacement plastic push rivets included with this hitch do not fit on models 2011 and newer. Replacement push rivets must be obtained from a BMW dealer.
I have attached an installation video on a 2011 BMW X5 to give you an idea on what is involved with the installation.
