Parts Needed to Upgrade a Harbor Freight Axle

Question:

Looking for clarification on the response to someone elses question about upgrading the axle and hubs on my 4x8foot foldable Harbor Freight trailer: https://www.etrailer.com/question-360162.html If I purchased all the parts listed, I think Id need: 1 axle with hubs: 20440I-EZ-60 2 sets of springs: SP-169275 1 axle mounting kit: CE23000 2 hanger kits for the springs: APS2 My questions: 1 Do I have the parts and quantities right....the springs are sold separately and not as a pair, and Id also need 2 hanger kits? 2 If I bought all these parts namely the hangar kit, I assume that the springs wouldnt need to be welded on like I read in other posts. Is that correct? 3 My assumption is that my stockinch HF tires and rims will work with this hub. Is that correct?

The parts and quantities do look mostly good, but you would only need one of the hanger kits # APS2. These are actually sold as a full kit for one axle. As to said axle, though, it would be a good idea to double check that your spring seats match the ones that come pre-welded to the # 20440I-EZ-60. These will measure 48 inches from center to center and yours should be as close as possible to this measurement.

Though the # APS2 will need to be welded on, the bolts that come with it will be used to attach the # e84SR.

The # 20440I-EZ-60 comes with hubs that use the 4 on 4 bolt pattern, which is the standard 4 bolt that is used on trailers nowadays. So if your current wheels have 4 bolts, this will fit them.
