Upgrading the Axle on 4x8 Trailer

Question:

the description states up to 12" wheels, but I have already upgraded to 4 bolt 13" wheels I bought from you. The other axle you may or may not have the 20440I-ST-60 states it will accommodate the 13" wheels, but is capped at 2000# instead of 2200#. So, I am a little confused here. I need to keep the 13" wheels.

In order to find the correct axle, you will need to know the dimensions from hub face to hub face and spring center to spring center, like in the photo I've added. I've also attached a link to our page with each of our available axles so you can find the correct fit.

What you'll need is for everything to match up; the # 20440I-ST-60 axle you referenced is for an axle with a hub-face-to-hub-face length of 60" and spring-center-to-spring-center length of 48". It comes with idler hubs that have a 4 on 4" bolt pattern and will fit your 13" wheels. This is the only axle we carry that fits all those criteria and it does have a 2,000 lb weight capacity. If each of the aforementioned dimensions and capacities fits your trailer then the # 20440I-ST-60 axle is going to work for you.
