The Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C will tie into your air brakes on your 2005 Freightliner M2. This proportional controller will automatically adjust based on the brake output from the air brake system. You can adjust brake rate by adjusting the control knob on the controller and manually activate the brakes from the slide bar.

There is no need to tie into the brake switch wire with this module. It only requires the 12v positive and ground. You will need to connect the blue output wire with the 7-way or 6-way plug on the back of your Freightliner.
