Based on my research, a Pullrite 2300 5th wheel hitch is an ISR series, which means it fits on industry-standard base rails. Based on that, I can confirm the base rails you asked about will work with your Pullrite 2300, and also fit your 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 with overload springs.

There are actually two different sets of base rails you can use that fit your truck and will work with your hitch:

- Reese Semi-Custom Base Rail and Installation Kit # RP30035-186

- B&W Semi-Custom Base Rail and 5th Wheel Installation Kit for Dodge Ram # BWRVR3202-00

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
