Best Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2017 Ford F-150 For Ride Quality

Question:

Hi, I have a 2017 Ford F150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4, 5.5foot bed. I intend on purchasing and installing the SSR-117-47 as the reviews really seem great to assist with my travel trailer towing. I experience some dolphining when towing on certain highways or bumpy roads. Ive read in numerous reviews that people are leaving the spacers off, so that the ride is normal when not towing. Since I only tow about 15 times per year, is that recommended? Will I still have the other benefits without the spacers? Thanks.

Due to how thick the spacers are on the SumoSpring kit part # SSR-117-47 if you were to leave them off you'd have barely have any support from this kit since they wouldn't engage soon enough when your suspension is compressing.

If you are wanting the best support, sag reduction, and ride quality you'd want the RAS kit part # RAS3611-YHD as it's only option that provides all of the support and stability like you are looking for as well as improves the ride quality. Nearly all other options make the ride quality rougher including the SumoSprings although they aren't as bad as some other options.
