Rear Suspension Enhancement For A 2017 Ford F-150 With A 6" Lift

Question:

I have 2017 f150, 6” fabtech lift. I was wondering if there was anything like the sumo spring “helper springs” or something simple I can add to my rear suspension to help when towing my 25’ trailer. The fabtech lift made my suspension much softer and it squats my truck more than I like. I would prefer not to pay $700+ to have airbags installed. Any advice would be appreciated

There are a few different options for your 2017 Ford F-150. In my opinion I would go with Item # TLA7310S. These are going to be the easiest to install and use. When towing and you add weight, the spring pack flattens which then your overload spring takes over for support. When the spring pack flattens it causes the back of the vehicle to squat because of the gap between the spring pack and overload springs.

After installing the StableLoad you simply spin the plates into place on the front and rear of the springs and they fill the gap between your overload springs and the pack. What it is doing is activating you overload spring instantly instead of waiting for the pack to flatten. This minimizes how much the pack flattens when weight is added. When not towing they can be turned out so you have normal ride quality.
