Does Timbren Heavy Duty Axle-Less Suspension ASR2KHDS01 Use 3500lb Brakes and Drums?

Question:

I currently have a Dexter 3,500 lb axle with 10inch brakes on my tear camper. Will the 5 x 4.5 hubs and brakes from the Dexter axle bolt onto the Timbren 2,000 lb HD ASR2KHDS01 system?

Expert Reply:

Yes. The Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - Straight Spindle - Regular Tires - 2,000 lbs # ASR2KHDS01 you were looking at use 3500lb 10" braking assemblies and 3500lb drum brakes so you will be able to reuse the hubs and brakes off of your 3500lb Dexter axle.

If when you remove them you find they are worn and needing replacement you can use braking assemblies # AKEBRK-35-SA, hub and drum assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K, and brake mounting hardware # BRKH10B.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
