Purchased for installation on 2016 Chrysler 300 V6. Instructions showed a flange on the exhaust system to permit removal of one of the (two) mufflers essential to mount the hitch. Unfortunately, the exhaust system on this particular car was fully-welded from the factory. There was no way to slide the hitch into position even with all exhaust system hangers removed to permit sag. I had to cut one of the mufflers off; then sleeve & clamp it back to original location. Ugh. Someone missed this feature. I wish the hitch had been 2-piece to permit mounting both "ears" into position then bolting the crossmember into place.

2014 Dodge Charger

Fit and finish are very good. Working on a 7 year old dual exhaust Charger, it took me a little over two hours to get it done rolling around on the floor by myself. Most of that time was taking the exhaust apart and removing the exhaust fascia chrome things. Those didn't make it back on. Passenger side bolts not the easiest to get to, but the fishwire thing worked perfectly.

After a year, hitch is holding up great. The parking garage at work is old and has steep ramps...I drag it on at least one going up and one going down every day. No noticeable damage yet. Does great with the bike rack and anything else I needed to do. And I took the time to plasti-dip those chrome exhaust things and reinstall them, whole package came out great.

Pontiac Trans Sport Van

With my 2 sons installation went well. We've used the hitch up hold our bike rack as well as a small metal shelf top transport items such as ice chests and suit cases. I have to be careful over speed bumps or it will hit. This hitch has come in very handy.

by:

Took about 2 hours to install the fish wire worked amazingly well. Had to remove rear bumper and do exhaust. Rebolting the rear hangers were tricky as the hitch does get in the way. Overall very happy with product. Shipping was very quick the box was damaged but the hitch was not. That is on the carrier such we'r sl know they don't handle packages with the greatest care.

by:
2011 Dodge Challenger

Product looks great and is well built, paint scratched off due to box failing and end of part sticking out of box and scraped. Carrier damage I guess. Otherwise a great experience. Would order again.

Things are great. The car can scrape the receiver sometimes but all else is great. Im probably one of the few that ran a lawn care company off a challenger.

Great looking hitch install went very easy. Only problem I had was one bolt holes had to be modified due to it being slightly off.

Great product and has work without any problems.

by:

bolts up easy. Does what I need. Use it to haul my utility trailer. I like that this product is a direct fit. Comes with everything needed to mount up to the car.

Great product and instructions. Ordered and received the next day!!! I installed it in my driveway in 30 minuets. The video that is on YouTube by etrailer is spot on.

2014 Chrysler 300

I bought the hitch and wiring kit for a 2014 Chrysler 300, I must say the install video made it look like an easy job and in fact it was. The install took me about 2 hrs. from the time I put the car on the lift till it was back on its wheels and that includes installing the wiring harness.
The fit and finish was superb, everything mated up perfectly, no need to tweak or pry on anything to get it to fit. All welds were smooth and straight. Nice to have and install such a high grade, heavy duty product.
I also bought the C56145 custom wiring kit, it is a must have item for Chryslers due to their load specific wiring. The dealer wanted $600 for the hitch and wiring kit + $ to install. I saved a lot by doing it myself.
A big thanks to "etrailer.com" for handling such fine products and the free shipping too.

Respectfully,
Larry R.

2011 Chrysler 300

The fit and finish was excellent... My only problems were in the installation on a 5 year old vehicle (2011 300 C)... The weld nuts were corroded, and on the passenger side, the limited access with the tail pipe in the way made it a chore to clean the threads enough to get the bolt to tighten properly... Also, there was no mention of the chrome exhaust tips that are cumbersome to remove and install with the tailpipes in place... Since you can get to the driver's side easier after removing that tailpipe, it would have been nice to know that it can be left in place until the tailpipe is removed. The passenger side is another story, it must com off to allow the pipe to come down enough to get the hitch slid in place... Other than those two things, the instructions were really good...

I am happy with the product. It is a bit low and hits some speed bumps and curbs when backing into parking spaces... But it is robust and has served us well. We mostly use it for my wifes Hoveround mobility chair, so it has been good...

2018 Chrysler 300C

I am 68 years old and get around in a wheel chair...after jacking up my newly acquired 2013 Chrysler 300C SRT8, I single handily removed the stock exhaust system as I was replacing it with an aftermarket performance setup...now was the opportune time to install the trailer hitch receiver with nothing in the way...the instruction were spot on...everything was included...3 bolts and washers threaded right in...3 plates and bolts fished in, and then were tightened down with nut/washer assemblies...total job lying on a creeper using impact tools was 35 minutes by myself...now I am just waiting for the small trailer to arrive that will carry my 3-wheel scooter with a tongue weight of 18 lbs. instead of using a Harmar lift attached to the rear of my car and forcing the rear to sag big time...I am over joyed!!!

2015 Dodge Challenger

Product well made at fair price. Haul a 4x8 utility trailer for wood products. Only annoyance is how low the tow body sits. I hit the bottom of the hitch bar on some low driveways. It would be nice if the body was a little more streamline without sacrificing strength. My car is a 2015 Dodge Challenger Scatback which is low to begin with. Overall happy with the purchase and service.of the dealer. Would buy again unless a more streamline and or concealed item was available.

by:
2014 Dodge Charger

Thank you for the follow up on my purchase. Your customer care is outstanding! I would like to comment on the hitch for my 2014 Dodge Charger. It's well built and a huge plus, it's made in the USA. Something that should be noted is that the 2014 Chargers muffler system is a bit different than what is depicted in your installation video. The passengers side muffler can not be disconnected and removed. It can be released from the hangers to give room for the installation but not removed because it is welded to the drivers side exhaust about half way to the engine. This provides little room to work around muffler making it very difficult to tighten the bolts on the passengers side. However, I was able to complete the installation and the product looks, and works great.
The 2014 Charger trailer wiring harness couldn't be easier. It really is a plug and play. Thanks for the great products and service. Dan

Drags on some driveways and speed bumps. I would not recommend for a Charger. The car is too low, though it pulls a trailer effortlessly.

2014 Chrysler 300-C

Product is absolutely excellent, purchasing and delivery, five star! Materials, instructions and products to do the installation, absolutely the best. They even include fishing wires for the bolts and washers. I would recommend etrailer.com to everyone I know and don't know; they are absolutely "the whole package"; don't accept anything less! Sorry, I don't have any pictures of the installed product, but everybody says it looks great on our 2014 Chrysler 300.

by:
2012 Chrysler 300

Should be an inch or so tighter up to the rear bumper cover. Hitch gets very close to the road and drags very easy. If it fit tighter it would drag less.Box you shjipped in was TERRIBLE! When I got it, the hitch had blown holes in three places. Good thing the fastners and instructions were taped to the hitch

2006 Dodge Charger

2016 Dodge Charger SXT. Great product. Direct bolt up with no drilling necessary. The install was painless. If your installing this in a state like New York the threads on the holes that are already on the car had a little build up of rust and dirt in them. Worth getting a tap to clean out the threads before install. Or even on if the wire brushes for plumbing. Overall totally worth the money. I purchased this so I don’t have to scratch my trunk with a bike rack and it will work perfectly. Definitely would recommend to anybody as long as you keep in mind I installed this on a 4 year old car. The older it is you may have to do more prep and cleaning before install.

by:

Arrived very quickly to like 30 min to install looks great highly recomend .

by:
2014 Chrysler 300

The actual hitch is great! Very solid, relatively low profile, and doesn't distract from the aesthetics of the car. I do have a minor issue with some higher speed bumps grazing the bottom of the hitch if I take them too fast. Also, unless you're a trained or extremely proficient mechanic, I'd get this hitch installed by a professional. It's a rather complex and daunting task on this particular vehicle. I paid a local muffler shop to put it on and it turned out they had just fitted the same hitch to another 300 a few days before, so I had confidence they would do it right.

by:

Hitch was for a 2016 Chrysler 300C, fit and finish were Great. Must drop the exhaust, but not necessary to remove. Also do not necessarily need to remove rear bumper facia, just loosen to get exhaust down. Electric kit fit the car perfectly as well.

by:
2014 Dodge Charger

The hitch is great, install was pretty easy except for getting the muffler that you don't take down out of the way. Only negative is that the receiver sits too low. Would have rather needed to cut the valance so the receiver sits higher. It tends to scrape on dips and if the car is loaded, its going to scrape period. I haven't found anything to raise the rear of the car some without spending a ton of money. Still looking though.

Yes, Curt trailer hitch # C13093 and # C12064 will fit your 2015 Dodge Charger.
