Stabilizer Jacks For Rear End Of Enclosed Cargo Trailer.

Question:

I am looking at buying a 7 x 14 or 16 enclosed cargo trailer and I know that I will need a set of jacks to keep the rear from tipping up every time I step in from the rear before some of the cargo is loaded in the nose. I like the design of the SJ-R208 but I dont want to install it on the outside of my trailer. My question is will I be able to weld it to the inside of the frame and not have to cut a hole in the floor or the framing?

Great question.

Without cutting a hole you wouldn't be able to get enough clearance for the jacks to work. I would strongly recommend using them on the outside to prevent clearance issues and probable damage.

However, I think you would be better off going with the Stallion Stabilizer Jacks - 7" Drop Leg Travel - 22-1/4" - Qty 2
# 288-01892-2 you can mount them underneath and then they can fold up and out of the way.
