Adding Additional Sway Control With Blue Ox Weight Distribution System
Question:
Can I add a fiction sway bar to my towing setup even if I have the Blue Ox weight distribution system? I would like a little bit more sway control and I thought that adding a friction bar would help.

It would be difficult to add a Friction Sway Bar # 83660 to a Blue Ox weight distribution hitch. The mounting points required just aren't there as the manufacturer never intended for both to be required. Plus you have the added hassle of removing it when doing tight turns and backing up.
I recommend add the Tuson Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 as it will work in conjunction with the system that you currently have in place. It utilizes the brakes on your trailer to reduce and prevent sway from occurring by activating each side individually.
