Yes it is and we can help you put together a complete package to flat-tow your 2009 Jeep Liberty. Please note the link to help article that I have attached with information listed below.

You will need:

- Base plate kit
- Tow bar
- Flat-tow wiring harness
- Safety cables
- Supplemental braking system
- *Possibly a high-low adapter.

Please links for each item below:

Base plate kit, I suggest the Roadmaster Base Plate Kit # 521434-1. This is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Jeep Liberty. The Roadmaster's EZ Twistlock series brackets are virtually invisible, easy to mount and simple to remove. These brackets install on your Jeep Liberty's frame to provide attachment points for your tow bar, their hidden bracket design provides improved aesthetics compared with standard brackets.

For your tow bar, I suggest the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain part # RM-576 which mounts on the motorhome and includes the needed safety cables. This lightweight and rustproof aluminum tow bar comes with cables and wiring has hassle-free latches that let you easily release your car, even at a hard angle or on unlevel ground. The large hookup radius makes connecting a snap and easily folds up to store on your RV.

For the needed wiring harness I suggest the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, # HM56204. With this option you can wire your Jeep Liberty and get the signal lights required for flat towing without having to splice into your wiring as this is a plug-in harness. The integrated diodes prevent feedback from RV for safe operation.

My recomendation for supplemental braking is the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. This too is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Jeep Liberty, it is a proportional braking system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset. The DUO activates when your RV's brake lights go on and an inertia sensor in the towed car detects deceleration.

Because your 2009 Jeep Liberty has a dead brake light switch when the vehicle is off, you will need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751430. It is also recommended that you get the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect, # RM-766; this is a requirement for 2008-2011 model years.

Because the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 will draw from your tow vehicle's battery while in tow, a charge line kit such as the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit, # RM-156-25, should be used.

You have the option of leaving the tow bar attached to the motorhome while not in tow, if you choose to you may want cover it with the Roadmaster Tow Bar Cover, # RM-055-3.

And finally, you may/may not require the use of a high-low adapter. I have attached a link to a help article "HOW TO CHOOSE A HIGH-LOW ADAPTER" to assist you in making this determination. To flat tow your vehicle behind your RV the tow bar adapter is used to raise or lower the height of the tow bar to the "Safe Zone". The "Safe Zone" for a motor-home-mounted tow bar ranges from 3" above level to 3" below level. A tow bar adapter will provide the necessary rise/drop to get into the "Safe Zone". Discover this by measuring from the ground to the center of the base plate kit on your 2009 Jeep Liberty and compare that to the measurement from the ground to the top of the inside edge of the hitch on your motorhome. If this distance is not within 3" of one another then you want to use a high-low adapter. Please note the link to a selection of adaptors attached.

In addition, I have attached several product review and installation videos of the items discussed here.
