Recommended 5h Wheel Hitch for Lowered 1996 Chevy C3500
Question:
i have a 1996 chevy c3500 dually , its been lowred 7 inches in the rear and 5 in the front, c notch and braced frame. with rear air bags. i am needing a 5th wheel hitch that I can use that can be adjusted so the camper will set level since the truck is lowered. please help. thanks

The Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # RP30047 is a great option for a 1996 Chevrolet C3500. It can be adjusted from 13.5"-17" above the truck bed. There can be another inch added as well for the rails, the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP30035. If this won't get the trailer level my best advice would be to lower the trailer accordingly. There's not much more adjustment you'll get out of the hitch.
