I want to buy a draw-tite trailer hitch for a 2016 Mazda cx-5, and I want to install it myself. My question is: Does this trailer hitch needs to be weld, or just install?

For your 2016 Mazda CX-5 I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76138 due to it having a 2" receiver which will give you many more options when it comes to accessories like a bike rack, cargo carrier, or ball mount if you plan on towing.

The # 76138 will not need to be welded as it will install with the included hardware to factory mounting points on the frame of your CX-5.
