Does Ground of 4-Way to 7-Way # C57672 Have to Be Ran for Just Taillight Functions
Question:
on the Item # C57672, if i just want to use it for brake lights and tail lights, do I still need to install the ground? If so, can I just splice it into the same ground that I used with the curt 4 pin kit 2017 Toyota Highlander . Thank you

If you were only planning on using the standard trailer taillight circuits with the # C57672 you would not need to run the extra ground wire although it wouldn't be a bad idea as it would add additional grounding to your trailer wiring.
If you wanted to connect it you'd want to run it to the vehicle frame.
