We do have one option for a trailer hitch that fits your 2018 Toyota Prius Prime that has a 2 inch receiver so you can use a 3-bike rack, which is from EcoHitch:

I can definitely understand the concern over the cost, as the EcoHitch is a premium option. If you were okay with not having a 2 inch hitch and instead using a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, there are two other hitches that fit your 2018 Toyota Prius Prime: - Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24966 - Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11473 I do prefer the Draw-Tite in terms of quality and install as there isn't quite as much underbody fascia trimming needed with this hitch, but either will work. The other thing to keep in mind is that a Class I hitch can only hold two bikes, and you will need a Class I-compatible bike rack with good bumper and ground clearance such as the Hollywood Racks Destination 2-Bike Rack # HLY94FR.
