RV Approved Hitch Bike Rack for 5th Wheel and 2020 Chevy Traverse
Question:
What hitch mounted bike platform rack do you recommend for a 5th wheel with a frame mounted 2inch hitch receiver? My RV has no rear bumper and I really would like the folding, tilting features of the Swagman XTC 2 tilt, which is not RV approved. The center of my receiver is 23 1/2 inches off the ground. Im looking for a good sturdy rack that costs less than $300. I also will use it on a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse.

You'd need a bike rack that is approved for use at the rear of a fifth wheel like the Swagman E-Spec part # S94FR which will also work great in the hitch of your 2020 Chevy Traverse.
Since the ride quality at the rear of a fifth wheel trailer is much rougher than at the rear of a vehicle the bike rack has to be reinforced for it.
