Will Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar Work With Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate On 2020 Equinox

I am interested in the Roadmaster Sterling towbar. and the Roadmaster RM-523193-5 baseplate for chevy equinox. Your Sterling page says that its not for use with direct-connect baseplates? Will it work with the baseplate im considering? Thanks

The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523193-5 you mentioned will work great with the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain # RM-576 you are interested in with the included pin and clips. You will need to add the RoadMaster 76" Single Hook # RM-645-76 as the included EZ safety cables will not work with the Roadmaster # RM-523193-5 baseplate.

To complete your flat tow setup you will also need lighting, and a supplemental brake system.

Wiring Kit - Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-LED if your Equinox is not a Premier model, and Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-98146-7 if your Equinox is a Premier model.

Supplemental Brake System - Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR with 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332. I included a video of the Blue Ox Patriot 2 being installed as it will install exactly the same.
