Replacement Surge Coupler for my 7,500 lb. Boat Trailer

Question:

Hello I have a Brake Actuator Dico 17550. It is on a 7.5K LB rated boat trailer, with single axel, hydraulic shoe brakes 12 dia. What is the part number for the current replacement model? Do you have a brake line kit for a 28 boat trailer? Is there a kit available with all of parts described above?

We have what you need. The Dico 17550 refers to a 2-5/16" ball replacement not the actual actuator. For the actuator and coupler use the Titan Brake Actuator part # T1607500 will get you back up and running. This is for drum brakes and offers a 12,500 lb. capacity.

Check out the linked video to see it and a more detailed description..

The HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit part # HS496-252 is the longest tandem kit I have. It includes all the mounting hardware and tee connectors but you may have to source a slightly longer split line from the front to rear axle to get the distance you need but in most cases the length of the kit is sufficient.
