2020 Ram 1500 Still Squats with Timbrens Installed

Question:

My Ram 1500 Crew Cab came from the dealer with a Leveling kit installed. When hooking up my bass boat the truck squats approx. 1.5. I bought the Timbres designed for my truck but it appears when installed they will be too far off the axle to prevent the sag I am currently experiencing. You insights would be appreciated. Some have told me I need HD Coil Springs to prevent the sag? Thank you!

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TDR1500DQ is a good option for a 2020 Ram 1500. That said, it won't get rid of all squat since the suspension has to reach a threshold before they even engage. If you like, you can get rid of more squat by adding spacers to have them engage sooner, the Timbren Spacer part # TA25722-90P00 for 1/2" or part # A25723-90AH00 for 1".

That said, the above can result in a rougher ride so a better option would indeed be stiffer coil springs, the SuperCoils Custom Suspension Coils part # SSC-50. These will do a better job of decreasing squat sooner without affecting ride quality too much.
