Why Do Thread Forming Bolts for Reese Dual Cam Require Rivet Nuts
Question:
Hello, Im confused. If the bolts are Thread Forming, then why the need for the Rivet Nuts? A thread forming bolt should form the threads in the metal as they as installed. Thanks,

I agree that calling the # 58437 thread forming is a little misleading since it's recommended that you drill holes in the frame and use the rivet nuts part # RP58507. Thread forming bolts typically have more of a drill bit on the end of the bolt than what the # 58437 have.
