The suspension enhancement option I recommend for your 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 is the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-201-40-2.

These are going to do a fantastic job to help control your Chevy when towing your 5th wheel because they compress independently based on the amount of weight being transferred. What that means is the bounce you get on a rougher road will transfer to the SumoSprings at each wheel, which will keep you from bouncing and give you greater control and handling with your truck. They also won't be harmful to your ride when you aren't towing, as you'll only notice them if you go over a bump, for example.

This is the same benefit as an air bag will give you, but with much, much less hassle. Air bags will do the job but you'll constantly have to maintain them and they can also leak, while the SumoSprings are something you install and then leave alone, letting them do their job.

I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-201-40-2.
