Upright Load Bars that Could Attach to Utlity Trailer

I would like to mount this to a 40inch wide Kayak trailer. Its the Smith Multi-sport. I plan to use four J racks mounted to the ladder rack to haul 2 kayaks. Have you guys seen this item used for that? Do you have any recommendations on other items that may work? Thanks for your time.

We have uprights that can attach to utility trailers like with the part # MPG493 which could be the base you could use for your kayak racks. The bars of this are compatible with standard kayak carriers like it sounds like you have as well.

We checked with Malone and the uprights of the Malone Top Tier Load Bar Kit #MPG493 are 16 gauge and the load bars are 14 gauge. The uprights are right at 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch.
