Instructions Needed for Wiring a 4-Way to 7-Way Trailer Connector on a 2008 Dodge Durango
Question:
I just received my 4 pin to 7 pin plug Part Number 37185 but did not get any instructions. Please email the wiring instructions. Thank You

I am sorry you did not receive instructions for wiring your trailer connector. With the 4-way to 7-way connector you connect the 4-way connector on the vehicle to the back of the adapter. This connection will supply stop, turn and taillights to your new 4-way and 7-way connectors. Then you must wire for the other functions you will need to power on your trailer. The blue wire will be ran to the electric brake controllers blue wire and the black wire will be ran to the battery or a fused terminal which supplies 12 volt power under your hood. After these connections are wired you have the auxiliary or reverse light wire left, which is purple, to wire if you need that circuit for your trailer, if this wire is not needed you can just tape it up out of the way.
