Correct Replacement for UFP A-60 or A-75 Brake Actuator

I have a 2005 Shorelander boat trailer S/N SR-V1946T I need a replacement drum brake actuator. Sticker on trailer says UFP A-60, but picture looks like a A-75. Will your part #DX97FR work in this application? Thanks -

The Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator part # DX89FR for disc or part # DX33FR for drum will work to replace both a UFP A-60 or A-75 Brake Actuator so there will be no worried here. The A-60 is rated for 6K and the A-75 is rated for 7.5K. The Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator is rated for 7.5K which is why there will be no issues.

What you have is a UFP A-60 drum brake actuator Philip so to replace just the inner member what you would need is the part #DX97FR and you'd be set.

The Replacement Inner Member for Dexter DX7.5L Brake Actuator part #DX97FR is compatible with a UFP A-70 Surge Brake Actuator.

For a UFP model A-75 drum actuator we have the replacement inner member part #DX97FR that is a fit for the Legacy UFP actuators which includes what you have.

It sounds like you are looking for the Replacement Inner Member #DX97FR. This is for drum brakes and does not have a reverse solenoid like the Inner Member #DX99FR you found.

Yes, the Dexter actuators part #DX29FR and #DX27FR are interchangeable and either could be used in place of the other. The mounting patters are exact same.

I had the bolt holes on the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator #DX89FR measured and they are 5/8 of an inch from the bottom of the bracket to the center of the bolt holes.

We had the chance to install the Fastway coupler lock part #FA86-0015-318 on an actuator like your UFP A-60 and found that it fit and worked well. Check out the picture I attached to see the lock installed on the coupler.
