Recommended Hidden Hitch for a 2017 Subaru Outback

Looking for a 2 inch hitch for my 2017 subaru outback. The hitch will mainly be used for a bike rack. Looking for something that is hidden as much as possible and is easy to install. what do you recommend?

The best trailer hitch we offer for a 2017 Subaru Outback with hidden design is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76227. The Draw-Tite hitch installs behind the rear bumper so it will be the most hidden and the receiver tube is also tucked neatly up under the bumper which will also allow for the best ground clearance.

Please note, you will have to remove the rear bumper for installation but that is how you get the hidden look. There is really no in between for a hidden look and easy install but you only have to install the hitch once which is why I recommend the above.

Yes, the ball mount in the Curt Trailer Hitch Towing Starter Kit, item #C45534 can indeed be used in the rise position. When in the rise position, the ball mount provides a 3/4 inch rise.
