Compatibility of Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with Hitch Height Adapter
Question:
Hello, I would like to use the Curt multipurpose hitch Item # D210 but I need to raise the hitch first. Could you recommend a hitch height adapter that will work with the multipurpose hitch?

Expert Reply:
You can use the Curt # D210 with an adapter, but it will reduce the tongue capacity of your trailer hitch receiver by 50%. If that is acceptable with your combination then I recommend the Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver # MPG544 which will give you 7-1/2 inches of height difference.
