Do I have to modify the rear bumper to accommodate this hitch?

Installation of the CurtTrailer Hitch, item # C13046, does not require modification of the rear bumper or fascia. You will need to temporarily remove your spare tire, then you can replace it after the installation is complete.
Some items you may need to complete your Class III hitch setup are listed below.
