Comparing B&W Heavy-Duty Ball Mount to Curt Heavy Duty Ball Mount
Question:
Hello, BandW Heavy-Duty Ball Mount - 1 Rise, 2 - 8-1/2 Long - 16,000 lbs Item # BWBMHD30010 is not in stock do you have an ETA? Or if you have a product that stands to the same specs of the one above? I have a new trailer Im picking up in June that takes 2 5/16 ball with the 1 1/4shank. Id like to not have to delay more then needed to pick it up. Because we all know waiting sucks :

The BandW Heavy-Duty Ball Mount - 1 Rise, 2 - 8-1/2 Long - 16,000 lbs # BWBMHD30010 is very similar tot he Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount with 2-5/16" Ball - 1" Rise, 2" Drop - 15,000 lbs # C45331 which has the same hitch ball shank dimension of 1-1/4 inches as well as the same rise and drop. Another benefit is the hitch ball is already installed and torqued to spec. Both are quality ball mounts with the B&W having a slightly higher rated capacity.
Stock levels change constantly and with the current pandemic I recommend getting the product that meets your needs by your deadline versus taking a risk of availability.
