Recommended Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack for 2017 Subaru Impreza
Question:
I own a 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport and want to buy a hitch and platform rack for 2 bikes. I met someone today who had a Kuat rack that she loves. Im hoping you can give me your opinion on what brand you would recommend for my car and why. Im a 5foot tall, 65 year old woman so am looking for something easy to use. My car is quite low slung in case thats a factor. Thanks

In order to use a hitch mounted bike rack on a 2017 Subaru Impreza you'll need a trailer hitch, the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 4960 for sedan models or part # DT24959 for hatchback models with single exhaust. These are both bolt-on fits with no cutting or drilling required.
For a bike rack, Kuat racks are exceptional and the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack part # KU74FR is great for you as it's lightweight therefore easy to get on and off the vehicle and it has an open design so you don't have to do as much lifting to get the bikes on the rack.
