Hitch Adapter To Increase Ground Clearance On Chrysler Pacifica To Use Bike Rack
Question:
Hi, just bought the DrawTite hitch for a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and put a Swagman Semi 2.0 on it. When I go up driveways the bike rack seems to scrape see picture, Are there any hi/low adapters you would recommend where I could get the rack higher off the ground?

I recommend to use the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter for Tow Bars part # RM-048-8 which is going to give the Swagman Semi 2.0 part # S64686 an 8" rise to help with ground clearance on drive ways. Please keep in mind the use of any adapter will cut the tongue weight rating of the hitch by 50%. So the 54 lb weight of the rack and the bikes cannot exceed half of the weight rating of your hitch. This adapter is designed for a 2" hitch.
You will also need a locking hitch pin part # TR63254 to pin the adapter to the hitch since your existing pin will be used with the bike rack.
