How do I Correctly Measure Drum Brakes?
Question:
I want to know what I need to measure to get the correct brake system for my trailer. Do I measure the inside width of the brake drum and the diameter of the drum? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
When measuring the brake drum, you measure the interior diameter on the drum.
I have attached a photo to help during the measuring process.
