According to Draw-Tite, their # 76253 Class III receiver hitch is a fit for all models of the 2020 Subaru Ascent. The receiver tube exits the rear of the vehicle through the bumper, for better ground clearance at the rear than a standard mount hitch that would have the hitch receiver sitting below the rear bumper fascia.

If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you'll need a trailer wiring harness, a ball mount and the correctly sized trailer ball. For a wiring harness, use # 118790. For a ball mount, use # 40346 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball. You'll also need a hitch pin, part # PC3.
